Spurs have confirmed that midfielder Luka Modric will join Real Madrid subject to a successful medical.
The Spanish champions have been chasing the midfield playmaker all summer and Real have now secured their top target.
The Croatian international will travel to the Spanish capital on Monday for a medical before putting pen to paper on a five-year deal at the Bernabeu.
Spurs also announced they are entering a partnership with Real Madrid following Modric's sale.
"Luka has been a terrific player for us and, while we preferred not to part with him, we are pleased that it is to Real Madrid, a club with which we now look forward to sharing a long and productive partnership," said Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez Rodriguez added: "We are delighted to welcome Luka and look forward to working closely with Tottenham in the coming years."
It is thought Real will pay Spurs around 37million euros (approximately £29m) for the 26-year-old's services.
