Real set to swoop for Sao Paulo youngster

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly given the green light to the summer signing of Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas.
It has been widely suggested that the former Chelsea chief will look to strengthen his squad over the summer to try and keep one step ahead of Barcelona after turning the tables on the Catalans this season.
Lucas, who has made one appearance for the Brazil national side to date, has been linked with the Bernabeu club for some time and now it appears they are ready to pounce for the talented youngster.
The capital club are allegedly set to pay 50 million euros for the South American starlet and the player's father, Jorge Rodrigues, has confirmed that the Real boss is serious about his intentions to bring him to La Liga.
"Mourinho said that if there is anybody who is ready to go to Europe it's Lucas," he told reporters.
Lucas has also been linked with moves to Chelsea, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Paris-Saint Germain and Manchester United.
