Real Madrid are keen to tie up a deal for Luka Modric quickly in order to stave off interest from Manchester United and PSG.
The Tottenham midfielder is keen to see his future resolved now Croatia have been knocked out of Euro 2012 and he is widely expected to tell the club this week that he wants to leave. Real Madrid have been long-time admirers of the former Dinamo Zagreb man and reports in the Spanish media suggest that boss Jose Mourinho has made Modric his number one summer target. The Portuguese coach is reportedly ready to step up Real's interest in the 26-year-old with a bid of around £30million. The Spanish giants are desperate to tie up a deal quickly in order to keep the player away from the clutches of Manchester United and PSG, who are also keen on signing the midfielder.
