Valencia striker Roberto Soldado says he wants to retire at the Mestalla after signing a new deal with the club.
Following years of moving about between a number of teams, Soldado appears to have finally found a home with Los Che and his performances even led former boss Unai Emery to hand him the captaincy.
He now says he wants to retire in Castellon as he has no interest in ever playing for anybody else.
"This is a dream that continues to grow," he said. "I want to thank my teammates, the club and the fans. I want to retire at Valencia CF.
"It has been an enormous privilege to play here. I have to earn this contract extension every day from here on in. I didn't listen to any other clubs and I didn't want to either, because I wanted to stay here."
