Song keen for Barca glory

New Barcelona signing Alex Song is targeting trophies with the club, who he describes as "the best team in the world".

Song completed his £15million move to Barcelona from Arsenal on Monday and the Cameroon international has expressed his delight at joining the Catalan giants. "I am very happy to be here. This is the best team in the world, playing at a club like Barcelona is something I always wanted when I was young," the midfielder told Barca TV. "I hope the team will continue to win. This is a winning team. They win everything. I will give my best in training and when I get the chance to play I will do it." The 24-year-old could make his first appearance in a Barcelona shirt on Thursday when Tito Vilanova's side play Real Madrid in the first leg of the Spanish Supercopa.
