Ancelotti expects final-day tussle
Carlo Ancelotti is adamant that PSG are still in the Ligue 1 title race which will go down to the final game of the season.
The Parisians moved to within three points of league-leading Montpellier with Wednesday's 2-0 win over Saint-Etienne and have three games in which to overhaul the top dogs.
Ancelotti has admitted his surprise that the media had written his side off as title contenders and he always felt they would mount a challenge as the business end of the season approached.
And the Italian coach has made it clear that he expects the title race to go down to the wire.
"Everyone was saying PSG had lost the title, but football is bizarre," he said. "We were disappointed after losing to Lille, but things are looking up now. Now we need to try and win our last three matches.
"I think the title will be decided on the last day of the season."
