Ancelotti looking for 'confidence' from win

PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti is hoping his side's win against Marseille on Sunday will be the catalyst for their title challenge.

The Parisians beat Didier Deschamps' men 2-1 at the Parc De Princes to go level with leaders Montpellier at the top of the Ligue 1 table, albeit having played a game more. Ancelotti's team had previously gone four games without a win and the experienced Italian is hoping their victory over L'OM will give them the confidence they need to finish the season strongly and hopefully win the title. "After four matches in all competitions without a win it was important for us [to get the victory]," he said. "Obviously I hope we'll be able to reproduce this in our next games, physically, tactically and mentally. "I hope this win will give us the confidence to get back to playing good football again and show some character."
