Ancelotti ready to axe Pastore
Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti admits he could drop Javier Pastore in a bid to kick-start his side's faltering season.
PSG halted a three-game winless run at home to Marseille last Sunday, but have otherwise been unconvincing of late and have fallen behind Montpellier in the race for the Ligue 1 title. They sit three points off the pace with seven games remaining. Ancelotti, who took over with PSG at the top of the table, has hinted Pastore could miss out when PSG face Auxerre on Sunday evening. "Pastore is not having a good time. His performance in the last game was not very good," said Ancelotti. "Maybe Pastore, just like Nene, will go on the bench for a few matches."
