Striker Demba Ba says he is loving life at Newcastle, but has confirmed that he would one day love to play for Paris Saint-Germain.
The Senegalese striker has proved an instant hit following his arrival in the North East ahead of the 2011/12 season, scoring 16 goals in 29 appearances and playing a major role in the team's pursuit of a Champions League qualification spot. Ba says he is enjoying his football and believes the English game suits his style of play, but has told reporters that he would one day love to pull on the famous red and blue jersey of PSG. "It's always a dream for me to play one day at PSG. But I'm really happy where I am in Newcastle. The English league suits me perfectly," said the 26-year-old. Ba arrived on a free transfer from West Ham United last summer, but is likely to command a significant fee if the big-spending French outfit express an interest in bringing the free-scoring African to the club. Despite being born in France, Ba has spent his entire professional career in Belgium and England.
