Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly targeting France coach Laurent Blanc to be the next permanent Blues coach.
Roberto di Matteo has been doing an excellent job as temporary coach following the dismissal of Andre Villas-Boas but reports suggest that the Londoners are lining up a big-name replacement to take over on a permanent basis this summer.
A number of names have been mentioned with Blanc the latest to be linked to the Stamford Bridge hot-seat.
Delivering Champions League glory to the Blues for the first time could give Di Matteo the opportunity to hold on to the post, but former Manchester United and Inter Milan defender Blanc is among those in the frame to be given the job on a long-term basis this summer.
Marseille manager Didier Deschamps and Zenit St Petersburg chief Luciano Spalletti are also being considered but Blanc is reportedly favourite to land the post should he decide to quit international football.
