Bordeaux president Jean Louis Triaud has confirmed that he would like to take Marouane Chamakh back to the club this summer.
The Moroccan striker has endured a difficult spell with Arsenal since leaving Bordeaux for the Londoners in 2010, where he has made only nine league appearances this season - eight of them as a substitute. As a result Triaud has admitted that he would love to have the player back, and initial talks have already taken place. "Marouane and I met last week end at the Parc des Princes while we were playing Paris," he said. "He knows he is more than welcome here. I know that if he has to return to France, it will be in Bordeaux and nowhere else."
