Deschamps eyes cup lift

Marseille coach Didier Deschamps has urged his players to pick themselves up ahead of Saturday's Coupe de la Ligue final against Lyon.

The former Chelsea star has started to come under increasing pressure with Marseille down in ninth place in the French top flight but they have a chance to secure some silverware at the weekend. And the former Juve coach wants his men to dig deep to turn things around. "We need to have a competitor's mentality because there's a title on the line," he told the cub's official website. "It's another game and we're doing it tough, we're in a rut, but we can't afford to let our heads drop. "We have to roll up our sleeves again and do whatever it takes to fight, even if things are against us."
