Garcia pleased with quality of signings
Rudi Garcia believes new signings Salomon Kalou and Marvin Martin can play a key role in Lille's quest for silverware next season.
Kalou completed his move to Les Dogues on Saturday after being released by Chelsea and is expected to fill the place in the team vacated by Eden Hazard, while Martin, who had been tracked by AC Milan, joined in June and will undoubtedly add more creativity to the midfield. Garcia says he's looking forward to working with his new charges and is pleased to have brought them in so early in the summer. "I am very satisfied with these signings. We wanted to sign two great players, and we were able to do it," he said. "It is nice to have them with us already because that will allow us to have four weeks of preparation with just about everyone."
