Gignac raring to go
Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac says he is desperate to rediscover the form that saw him top the scoring charts in 2008-09.
The French international has had a difficult few seasons since moving to the Stade Velodrome and has struggled to establish himself in the side due to a persistent groin problem. However, the 26-year-old says he's now fit and raring to go and hopes to finally deliver on the promise that came with his hefty price tag. "These last two seasons have been really tough for me with injuries and poor performances," the striker told his club's official website. "I know that I have a lot to prove and to make up to the club and the fans. "OM made a huge effort to sign me, and now it's up to me to prove myself and repay their investment."
