Lavezzi saga set to end next week

Ezequiel Lavezzi looks set to join Paris Saint-Germain after Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed a deal had been reached.

The 27-year-old Argentinian striker has been linked with several of Europe's top clubs this summer after a superb season in Serie A for the Naples-based outfit. The Italians wanted to hold on to him but appear to have lost out to the cash-rich Parisian outfit. The saga has been dragging on for some time but De Laurentiis told Naples radio station Radio Marte that the deal should be done and dusted in the next few days. "There is talk of a 31 million euro price in the press, but this agreement is confidential and I can not reveal the true figures," he said. "All I can say is that the case will be concluded next week."
