Leonardo rejects Lavezzi rumours
Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has rejected reports that the club have made a bid for Ezequiel Lavezzi.
A source within the club previously revealed that coach Carlo Ancelotti has made the Napoli frontman his number one target for the summer after stating he wanted to sign a top-class striker. The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to a number of Europe's top sides in the last few weeks after once again starring for the Partenopei throughout the campaign. However, despite the rumours linking him with a move to the Parc des Princes, Leonardo insists the Parisians are yet to make a bid for Lavezzi but says he is an "interesting player". "Lavezzi? He is an interesting player, but we have not made any offer," he told RMC.
