Lille president Michel Seydoux says the club may not be able to convince Eden Hazard to stay at the end of the season.
The Belgian winger is a reported transfer target for a host of top European clubs, including Premier League giants Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, and is set to be one of the hottest properties in the summer transfer windows. It looks like Lille have given up hope of keeping Hazard at Stade Lille-Metropole with the club looking likely to miss out on the Champions League places in Ligue 1. Seydoux told Radio Monte Carlo: "Eden wants a European experience outside France. We cannot hold him. "If he already spent two more seasons in France, it is because we have been a very strong club. We make no sales here." Hazard, 21, has scored 109 goals in 142 games for the French club whilst also netting 17 times in 26 appearances at international level.
