Lille keen on Afellay capture
France Ligue 1,
Lille are set to rival Tottenham for the signature of Barcelona's Ibrahim Afellay if the Dutch international leaves this summer.
The 26-year-old moved to the Nou Camp from PSV in January 2011 and made 16 La Liga appearances in the second half of that season.
However his appearances were severely restricted last term, with just four league outings all season after he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during training in September 2011.
The Dutch star is reportedly keen to stay at the Nou Camp after recovering from the injury, but new manager Tito Vilanova may have other ideas as he looks to build a squad capable of taking the title back from Real Madrid.
Spurs are long-time admirers of the play-maker but reports in Spain claim Lille have offered £6.5m for Afellay who is also on the radars of Inter Milan and Schalke.
