Machado heading to Greece

Toulouse midfielder Paulo Machado is set to leave the club to join Olympiakos after the Greek side announced a deal was in place.

Olympiakos said on Friday that all agreements over transfer fee and salary have been reached between both clubs and that the Portuguese midfielder would travel to Athens on Sunday to complete a medical. Machado will sign a three-year contract with the Greek giants should he pass the medical and will receive an annual salary of €1.4million (£1m), with Toulouse being paid a transfer fee of €2.4million (£1.9m). The 26-year-old joined Toulouse in 2009 and established himself as an important player in the team, scoring 12 goals in 89 appearances.
