Napoli keen on Montpellier skipper

Napoli are reportedly rivalling Premier League side Newcastle in the race to sign Montpellier skipper Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa this summer.

Yanga-Mbiwa was impressive in France last season as he helped Montpellier win the title and he has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League with Newcastle interested.
Italian side Napoli, however, have now emerged as contenders for his signature and the 23-year-old could be persuaded to make the move there instead.
Montpelier are desperate to keep hold of Yanga-Mbiwa and apparently want at least £10m for him.
