N'Koulou flattered by Barca interest

Marseille defender Nicolas N'Koulou admits he is pleased that Barcelona have shown an interest but is focused on his current club.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a possible summer switch to the Nou Camp in recent weeks with Marseille now down in 10th place in the Ligue 1 table after an appalling sequence of results. Whether or not the deal actually goes ahead is open to question but, for the player, it is nice to know that the top club side in world football have recognised his talent. "Barcelona? Their interest is flattering," he said. "It's a good feeling that they are following me." The Cameroon international insists he will look after his own future when the time comes but is now just concentrating on trying to rescue what has become a disastrous season for Marseille. "I will look at what is best for me," he added. "I am still under contract here, and I am mainly thinking about the club's difficult situation at the moment."
