PSG not interested in Ronaldo
Paris Saint Germain sporting director Leonardo has made it clear they are not interested in moving for Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo dropped a bombshell at the weekend when revealing that he was unhappy with the La Liga champions and he backed up his claims by failing to celebrate either of his goals. While refusing to be too specific about his reasons for being "sad" at the club, the former Manchester United ace confessed that is far from happy and that club officials "know the reasons". Manchester City have already been linked with an audacious swoop for the Portugal international but PSG, one of the only other clubs who could realistically afford the huge transfer fee involved, will not be getting involved in a bidding way if the player does become available. "We have never even thought about making a move for Cristiano Ronaldo," Leonardo told RAC1. "When we want a player, we talk directly to the club. This has not been the case. PSG have not been in touch with anyone from Real Madrid. "We are very pleased with what we have achieved in the transfer market this summer."
