Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi says the club will recruit new players this summer after missing out on the league title.
PSG finished three points behind surprise Championnat winners Montpellier but in finishing second they have secured qualification for next season's Champions League.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti is already deep into his preparations for the next campaign and, though club president Al-Khelaifi says he will underpin the Italian's ambitions, he has refused to comment on rumours suggesting a nine-figure transfer budget, while emphasising the importance of developing player development pathways at the club.
"We will discuss the structure of the team. We want three or four reinforcements. We will play in the Champions League and in order to do well, everyone in the squad needs to be at the same level," he said.
"But €100m for new signings? That is just a rumour. I have never said anything about that figure.
"Our objective is not only to buy players. We have money to spend, but in the medium run, let's say, in the next four or five years, we want to be able to have players who come from our youth ranks."
Among other players, PSG have been linked with moves for Real Madrid pair Gonzalo Higuain and Kaka.
