Reds eye St Etienne hit-man

Liverpool are being linked with a January swoop for St Etienne star Pierre Aubameyang to help boost their striking ranks.

The Reds are down to the bare bones up front with Andy Carroll on a year-long loan at West Ham and Fabio Borini out injured.
Luis Suarez has been leading the line on his own but boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to secure a back-up and Aubameyang is reportedly on his wish-list.
The 23-year-old Gabon international is currently in red-hot form and has scored six Ligue 1 goals already this season for Les Verts.
He was reportedly the subject of a 12million euros bid from a Premier League club on the last day of the summer transfer window and the Merseysiders may look to pounce in January.
