United tracking Hazard
Manchester United first-team coach Rene Meulensteen admits Sir Alex Ferguson is tracking Lille star Eden Hazard.
Ferguson travelled to France last month to watch the 21-year-old in action - increasing speculation he is set to move for the young Belgian. Meulensteen said the United boss thinks Hazard is "an interesting player" and revealed the pair have spoken about him on a number of occasions. "Ferguson wants to know the player's character, and because of that he makes personal trips to watch them. Hazard is the main man at Lille and so Ferguson wanted to see if that had had an influence on him," added Meulensteen. United are likely to face competition from a host of Premier League clubs for Hazard's signature, while Bayern Munich are also in the running.
