Abbott praises Addicks after promotion

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott has praised Charlton after the Addicks beat his side to seal promotion to the Championship on Saturday.

The Cumbrians went into the match having not lost in their last 17 games at Brunton Park but went down to a 76th-minute strike from Bradley Wright-Phillips. Despite the disappointment of the loss, which leaves his team outside the play-off spots, Abbott was full of praise for Chris Powell and wished him and his staff all the best for next season.
