Bees list Woodman

Brentford have announced that defender Craig Woodman has been placed on the transfer list as he no longer features in the club's plans.

The 29-year-old joined the Bees from Wycombe in 2010 but after a promising first 18 months at Griffin Park, lost his place in the side in the second half of the season, making just one appearance since January. Coach Uwe Rosler has now told the left-back he is free to leave the club and has welcomed offers for him. "Craig is a competent League One left-back, who has shown his qualities over a number of years," Rosler told the Hounslow Chronicle. "However, at the moment we can't give him the regular games that he needs. "Both parties have agreed that if a club comes in and meets our valuation of the player then we are prepared to listen."
