Oldham manager Paul Dickov says he is still hopeful that winger Chris Taylor will sign a new contract at the club.
The 25-year-old's current deal runs out in the summer and the talented star has already rejected a contract extension at Boundary Park as he wants to play at a higher level than League One. Despite Taylor's previous admission, Dickov is hopeful he'll remain at the Lancashire club but says he wouldn't begrudge him a move away. "Chris feels that he wants to go and try and play at a higher level," said Dickov. "I've not ruled out completely the idea of him being here next year. We would like that to happen, but it's in Chris' hands. "After the service he's given the club I don't think anyone could begrudge him wanting to go up to a higher division," he added.
