Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson was left frustrated after his side could only manage a 1-1 draw at struggling Walsall on Saturday.
Lee Novak gave Town the perfect start with a goal after just two minutes, but Huddersfield could not capitalise. Walsall secured their League One survival with a second-half equaliser. A run of four defeats in five games scuppered Town's automatic promotion hopes and Grayson was left to rue another disappointing showing at a crucial stage of the season. "I'm feeling frustrated because you saw the best of us in the first half and we could have had the game over and done with by half-time," said Grayson. "In the first half we should have had the game won, but by the end of the second we could also have lost the game." Huddersfield have one more game of the regular season, at home to Yeovil, before taking on MK Dons in the play-offs.
