Charlton captain Johnnie Jackson was delighted and relieved after his side secured the League One title with victory over Wycombe.
The Addicks have led from the front all season and a 2-1 victory at The Valley on Saturday secured a 97th point of an incredible campaign. Sheffield United's defeat at Milton Keynes Dons confirmed Charlton's league crowning. With promotion already assured, securing the title was Charlton's final objective of the season and Jackson was pleased they got the job done with two games to spare. "We're delighted and obviously really pleased. It's been a long tough season," said the former Spurs trainee. "Last weekend's celebrations were probably a bit crazier because we had the relief of knowing that we are up, and then today was more of the same."
