Thorn eyes promotion

Coventry boss Andy Thorn says that the club's main goal for this season has to be to try and win League One.

The Sky Blues were relegated from the Championship last term but are being tipped to make an immediate return after recruiting a number of talented young players. With the likes of John Fleck and Kevin Kilbane already arriving at the Ricoh Arena, Thorn is confident that his side can achieve their goal and says anything less than promotion would be a major disappointment. "I've let them know that there's only one thing that I want, regardless of who's at the club or not, and that's promotion," he said. "We have to be on the front foot and our target has to be promotion."
