Wilson wants ruthless edge
Sheffield United boss Danny Wilson has called on his side to be ruthless ahead of their crucial trip to Exeter.
Wilson's side no longer have their destiny in their own hands following a 2-2 draw against Stevenage. Cross-city rivals Sheffield Wednesday will seal promotion to the Championship should they beat relegated Wycombe on the final day of the season.
Having looked set for second spot, it now looks as if the Blades will have to settle for a play-off place.
"If that's the route we have to take then so be it. We'll go in believing we are good enough to win them," he said.
The United manager is not about to give up hope of automatic promotion just yet, though. He wants a siege mentality at St James' Park on Saturday.
"That's the attitude we'll have - one where we take care of ourselves rather than worry what anyone else is doing," he added.
