Port Vale manager Micky Adams has revealed that striker Liam Dickinson will train with the club to help him return to full fitness.

The 26-year-old has not played since breaking his ankle last year and was recently released by npower League Two rivals Southend. However, Adams has offered the forward the chance to continue his rehabilitation at Vale and admits he may be interested in signing Dickinson if he can prove his fitness. "Liam is a player we are interested in and we're keen to take a look at him while he works on his fitness," Adams told the club's official website. "We have expressed an interest in signing him, but that won't happen until we're certain he's fully recovered."
