Brown keen to lift troops
AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown admits his players "are as low as can be" following another heavy defeat on Saturday.
A 6-2 loss at Burton last Tuesday was followed up by a 5-1 reverse at Bradford. The manner of the defeats brought the Dons back down to earth after an encouraging opening-day win over Chesterfield. Brown will be working closely with his defence in training this week and will be striving to rebuild confidence in the camp. "We have been working all week with the centre-halves, but we didn't deal with the ball over the back four and if you can't deal with that sort of ball you are in trouble," said Brown. "The only thing we can do is to get back to the training ground and work hard on our defensive shape. My job is to instil some confidence in the players - they are as low as can be."
