Crewe boss Steve Davis says his side have "grown up and become men" after qualifying for the League Two play-off final.
The Railwaymen drew 1-1 against Southend on Wednesday to earn a 2-1 aggregate victory and seal their place at Wembley where they'll face either Torquay or Cheltenham. Davis' young side have garnered plenty of praise during the second half of the season due to their attacking style and fearless nature and the coach says they have now taken a big step in their careers by making it though to the play-off final. "It is a big step because we stood up to a lot of pressure at the end," he said. "It is not easy when you have got young players, they are not used to this situation. Tonight they have grown up and become men."
