Davis wants Torquay revenge

Crewe midfielder Steve Davis has warned Torquay that they will face a tough test when the two sides meet on Saturday.
The Gulls comfortably beat the Cheshire side 3-0 at the Alexandra Stadium earlier this season, a result that saw the end of veteran boss Dario Gradi's latest reign at the club. However, the Railwaymen are currently on a run of 14-games unbeaten, a streak that has seen them move into the play-off places and Davis has promised Torquay that they will face a much tougher test this time around. "We were very poor that day and are a much better team now," Davis said. "That is to take nothing away from Torquay, who played very well. "Torquay can expect a different Crewe Alexandra side on Saturday and we are going there to get the points we need."
