New Bradford City signing Nathan Doyle says he joined the club because of their "ambition".
Doyle, 25, signed a one-year deal at Valley Parade earlier this month following his release from Barnsley at the end of last season and is now in his second spell with the Bantams. The versatile player impressed for Bradford during a loan spell from Derby County in the 2006-07 season and is delighted to be back at a club he says are going in the right direction. "It wasn't that hard a decision when you see the quality of the players and staff here as well as the experience of the manager," he told the Telegraph and Argus. "You look at the likes of Matt Duke, who has played in the Premier League with Derby. You don't get appearances in that division for no reason. "There are some good players and that gives you an insight of the ambition of the staff here. I'd rather be at Bradford where they've got ambition and want to do well, rather than at a Championship club that is happy just to avoid relegation."
