Adam Dugdale says Crewe are happy with their status as underdogs ahead of their League Two play-off match with Southend on Saturday.
The Railwaymen sealed their place in the play-offs with a final-day draw against Aldershot, extending their unbeaten run to 16 games, while in contrast their opponents have been in and around the automatic promotion places for the majority of the season. Despite their strong form, Dudgale says his side are the clear underdogs going into the tie, something he believes will work in their favour as they'll be able to play without pressure. "We're the underdogs now, but everyone is raring to go," he said. "They beat us twice this season. When I say we're underdogs, we're not fearing them by any means. "The pressure's off us, the pressure's right on them," he added.
