Andy Hessenthaler insists Gillingham will keep fighting after a 3-1 win over Swindon kept their slim play-off hopes alive.

Saturday's victory was not enough to deny Swindon promotion to League One and the Gills boss admitted watching Paolo di Canio's men celebrate at Priestfield was tough to watch. Gillingham went into the season with high hopes but the best they can hope for from the final two games is a play-off spot. The Gills sit four points adrift of the top seven, needing favours to keep their season alive. Hessenthaler is determined to end a disappointing season on a high. "We were happy to have won the game but watching them celebrate, that's what we want," he said. "That was hard to take, but are we out of it? If we win our next two games, who knows? We are still in it and Gillingham still have a chance of getting into the play-offs."
