Grayson lands seventh summer signing

Leeds United, 12:22, July 29, 2010 ,

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is close to securing a deal for versatile right-back Alex Bruce from Ipswich Town.

The 25-year-old looks set to become boss Simon Grayson's seventh singing of the transfer window after falling out of favour with Ipswich manager Roy Keane.
Bruce will end his four year stay with the Tractor boys with sources claiming the defender will sign a two-year contract at Elland Road, after completing a medical.
Leeds meanwhile, have some injury worries to take care of before the new season begins on the 7th August, where they play Derby at home. Winger Robert Snodgrass will be having a scan on the knee injury he picked up in the 3-1 win over SK Brann and new boy Billy Paynter may miss the start of the season with a shin injury.
