Warnock set for Bates talks

Neil Warnock will discuss his plans for the way forward with Leeds at a meeting with chairman Ken Bates next week.
Boss Warnock is expected to offer his opinion on how much money the club is going to have to make available for team strengthening if they want to launch a serious promotion challenge.
"It's better talking across a table rather than on a telephone," Warnock said. "He wants to know what I'm looking at.
"I've already had a meeting with [chief executive] Shaun Harvey discussing what I think we'll need and then when the chairman's over we can have a chat about the club in general really."
When asked about the possible size of his summer transfer kitty, Warnock said: "You've got to be realistic and a lot will depend on what I tell him I think we need. That's got to be behind closed doors really at this stage."
Warnock added: "I know where I stand and I think the average Leeds supporter knows where I am. They've watched a lot more games than me. I read a couple of recent letters from supporters and thought 'you're not far wrong pal."'
