Nigel Pearson promised to keep teenager Harry Panayiotou grounded after his debut goal secured a 2-1 win for Leicester at Leeds.

The 17-year-old stepped off the bench in the 73rd minute and duly pounced in injury time to snatch three points for the Foxes on the final day. It was a dream start to first-team life for Panayiotou, a first-year trainee who has just signed his first professional deal with the club, but Pearson was not getting too carried away afterwards. "It was good for him to get the experience and it's nice to blood young players," said the City boss. "But we need to keep his feet on the ground and I will do that."
