Pearson wants improvement on the road
Nigel Pearson has admitted his Leicester side must address the issue of their away form if they are to turn themselves into promotion candidates next season.
The Foxes have lost 10 matches on the road this season, picking up just 24 out of a possible 66 points on their travels to sit 10th in the npower Championship table.
And manager Pearson is well aware that those statistics need to improve if they are to challenge for elevation to the Barclays Premier League next term.
He told the Leicester Mercury: "We have needed to be good at home because our away form has not been what we would have liked. We have put ourselves under a lot of pressure at home in terms of having to win games.
"We have to show that consistency away from home and there is no reason why we can't.
"There is no reason why you can't go an perform as well away. We have had some good performances away from home but we haven't turned some of those into the results we want."
