Cook on the menu at Leyton Orient
Leyton Orient have signed former QPR winger Lee Cook on a five-month contract.
The winger, 30, has been training with the O's for the last three weeks following his release from Loftus Road and has now put pen to paper on a deal taking him through to January 24. Subject to the club receiving Barclays Premier League clearance, he will be available to play in Saturday's match against Hartlepool. He spent two months on loan at Brisbane Road last term, scoring once in 10 appearances before ending the campaign with a similar loan spell at npower League One title winners Charlton. QPR let him go at the end of the campaign, three-and-a-half years after paying £2.5million to take him across west London from local rivals Fulham.
