Argentine star to consider his future
Liverpool midfielder Maxi Rodriquez is contemplating a move away from Anfield as he seeks regular first-team football.
Rodriguez has only started seven Premier League games this season, but can still boast a healthy return of four goals for the Reds. Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is in no rush to get rid of the Argentine, who he values as an important member of his squad, despite his £80,000 a week wages. However, the 31-year-old is at a stage in his career where he wants to be playing week in, week out while he can still produce the goods at the highest level and for that reason, Dalglish is unlikely to stand in his way if he decides to take up a new challenge elsewhere. The former Atletico Madrid star told The People, "I'm not playing the amount of minutes that I want to play. "When I play, I take my chances and do a good job. I score goals. "I don't know if I will stay for next season, that's the truth. I will decide at the end of the season. "All the people here have treated me well, but I want more minutes."
