Big finish wanted by boss
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is looking to end the season on a high with a victory over Chelsea at Anfield tonight.
Liverpool will have to shake off their disappointment from Saturday's FA cup final defeat to tonight's opponents but Dalglish is looking for a positive finish on home turf. The Reds can still finish above Everton if they win their final two matches, and David Moyes' men slip up at home to Newcastle, and Dalglish wants the side to finish on a high at Anfield where their record has been poor this season. "It would be fitting if we could finish off at home with a victory," Dalglish said. "Everyone knows the home results haven't been great this season despite some excellent performances along the way. "It would be a little bit of solace for the punters who have given us tremendous support throughout the season if we could get a win. "We want them to go home with a certain amount of satisfaction and we can do that by getting the three points. "It would be fantastic for everyone to get a positive result - for both the players and the supporters."
