Defender in fitness race

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will give a late fitness test to defender Daniel Agger ahead of the clash with Everton on Monday night.
The Danish international picked up a calf injury which kept him out of the side which drew with Stoke last weekend but is expected to be fit to face Everton on Monday.
Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa have both returned to full training and are available so Benitez has a full squad to pick from apart from Emiliano Insua, who is on international duty with Argentina in the South American Under-20 Championships in Venezuala.
Alonso who needed stitches in his instep following the win over Preston told the Post: "I am back training. I had the stitches taken out on Monday.
"I'm still a little bit sore in that area. Right now I am able to play with the inside of my foot but my instep will be okay for Monday."
