Exit not on cards for Yossi

Liverpool, 08:30, December 5, 2008

Yossi Benayoun has no intention of leaving the club in the new year despite hinting that he could be set for a move.

In a recent TV interview Benayoun hinted that if first team football was not forthcoming at Anfield then he would be looking for pastures new come the transfer window.

This is not apparently the case according to his agent Ronen Katsav, who says he doesn't understand where the stories are coming from and has dismissed a link with Spartak Moscow.

"I don't understand where they're getting this from," Katsav said.

"Yossi is happy at Liverpool, he played the full 90 minutes on Monday against West Ham.

"Benayoun wants to remain in the best league in the world with Liverpool, to continue to battle for the title, which this year the club is closer than ever to winning."
