Fitness race for Jose

Liverpool left-back Jose Enrique is in a race against time to be fit for the clash with Premier League Champions Manchester City.

Enrique picked up a knee injury in training which meant he had to sit out the clash with West Brom last weekend and he will not be available for the Reds Europa League clash with Hearts on Thursday. Enrique will continue to receive intensive treatment at the Melwood training camp in the hope he will be available for the clash with City at Anfield. Boss Brendan Rodgers is expected to ring the changes to his side for the trip to Hearts for the Europa League play-off first leg.
