Forward ready for Everton again

Liverpool, 11:07, January 21, 2009 ,

Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt says the players are determined to 'put things right' when they face Everton again on Sunday.

The Dutch forward says Liverpool will learn from their mistakes when they take on Everton for a second time within a week at Anfield on Sunday in the FA Cup fourth round tie.
Kuyt told the Post: "We wanted to beat them and thought we could win, but now we want put things right on Sunday. We will learn from the mistakes we made against them, and we will be ready for them in the cup game.
"We are very disappointed at the moment. We controlled the game, had some good chances and scored a great goal through Stevie, so it's difficult to accept this kind of result when you concede so late in the game.
"I think we deserved to win. But we have to keep going and keep looking forward. We dropped two points but now we just have to look towards the next game."
